Sales Account Manager

Job description

We're looking for a Sales Account Manager for a permanent contract in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted go to market plans for customers
  • Develop and implement accounts plan activities
  • Sell Financial Software Products to existing customer base and to new prospects to achieve targets
  • Manage products application sales process from prospect to deal completion and collection.
  • Initiate and follow-up with customers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions correspondence and reports
  • Contact current and prospective customers to sell and explain products
  • Prepare and present proposals, recommends actions based on customer needs and sales of appropriate software
  • Arrange for road shows and seminars as needed
  • Achieve quarter and annual targets
  • Conduct local and regional meetings with clients and partners in the countries under account manager responsibilities
  • Identify revenue opportunities within customer’s communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed
  • Support presales in developing proposals templates and customizing / QA of final proposals as an ongoing process
  • Work closely with the presales, marketing, and technical teams to meet project objectives
  • Assume ownership and responsibility for customer sale
  • Create and execute brand and product awareness campaigns
  • Coordinate user group meetings to raise product awareness & achieve other marketing goals
  • Maintain accurate customer records with partners
  • Update customers on specific product development & enhancement efforts
  • Work closely with the vendor to develop the offering
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer between technical and non-technical resources
  • Travel when required on road shows/ product launch
  • Develop partner network in the region under management
  • Perform other duties assigned by your manager

 

Role:

  • Master degree or equivalent commercial experience in IT or finance
  • 1 to 3 years commercial experience working with financial institutions or IT/consulting companies that deal with financial institutions (banks, clearing houses, brokerage, etc.).
  • Proven success in sales and business development
  • Business development experience of products and/or services
  • Willingness to travel in Europe
