How does SAP run?
The corporate vision of SAP is to 'help the world run better and improve people's lives' and encourage its employees to feel proud about the company they work for. Each October, SAP holds its biggest volunteering initiative—the annual Month of Service. Last year, as part of the EU Code Week initiative, SAP volunteers united under the common theme “Show the world your superpowers: volunteer” and taught basic programming skills to 2,700 school children in 39 countries around the globe.
When it comes to target mindset, SAP looks for professionals who identify with the five company values:
- Tell it like it is
- Embrace differences
- Build bridges, not silos
- Keep the promise, and
- Stay curious.
Every recruitment is prepared very carefully, to find a candidate who will fit into the company culture. From the first minute new colleagues walk in the door, SAP tries to make them feel at home. Every new employee gets a 'buddy' during his or hers first three months of employment, who offers advice and guidance about working at SAP Belgium.
