Mission: 

We are currently looking for a resource acting as Head of Accounts Payable SPOC & External Accounts Payable Service Provider Contract Manager in the Financial Operational team.

The tasks of the Head of AP SPOC & External AP Service Provider Contract Manager consist of:

  1. Head of AP SPOC WL Belgium
  • People management responsibility for the Accounts Payable Team (local and off-shore), internally called AP SPOC. It consists of the hierarchical and functional management of 3 headcounts in own unit and the functional management of 2 headcounts in back up functions in other FIN units. The mission of these AP SPOC is being the entry point for the External AP Service Provider into WL and to ensure an efficient day to day delivery of the process by the External AP Service Provider.
  • Reviewing, checking and approval of the payment lists (in collaboration with External AP Service Provider and Treasury)
  • Monitoring of parked invoices and internal escalation (if required) and of rejected invoices and proposing of unblocking/remediation actions
  • Coordinating and ensuring of smooth communication between AP SPOC WL BE Team and External AP Service Provider, WL BE business, WL BE purchasing, WL BE General ledger team and Power Users & Super Power Users

       2. Operational External AP Service Provider Contract Manager

  • The reporting on the outsourced Payables activities to the entities Finance Management
  • Follow up of the External AP Service Provider performance versus Service Level Agreement and its reporting to the Management
  • Operational coordination of issues and open items between External AP Service Provider and the AP SPOC teams of the WL entities and reporting to management of root causes, remediation actions and possibilities of improvement
  • Sharing of best practices or any evolution in the process amongst AP SPOCS communities
  • The migration of the Payables activities of WL entities from the local tools and processes to the External AP Service Provider (outscourcing) (if any)

Profile

  • Educated with a bacherlor or master degree level in Accountancy
  • Excellent level in English + FR or NL
