  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure related to a service
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Ad hoc requests
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Active Directory
  • Certificate management
  • Windows Patch management (SCCM)
  • LDAP knowhow
  • Authentication strategies (e.g. Smartcard)
  • Experience or certifications in Virtualisation Technologies (either VMWare or Citrix or Microsoft)
  • SCOM
  • Knowledge of Mc Afee antivirus solutions and Linux systems are a plus
  • Software distribution tools SCCM
  • Experience with Packaging / Scripting Technologies & Tools (MSI, Wise PackageStudio, InstallShield, Winbatch, Windows Scripting, …)
  • Scripting languages (Powershell;VBScript;Winbatch and/or others), packaging tools
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Excellent Problem solving skills
  • Capable of handling multiple project assignments independently
  • Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
  • Being a security-minded individual and able to responsibly use administrative access
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at an international scale. Open to cultural differences
  • Excellent written and communication skills, business fluent English is mandatory. Dutch, French, German are a plus
  • Good and widespread technical background (Network, System, Database) is an advantage
